Zegras trade returns are the new Jack Eichel and we saw how that went between expectations and reality!

That Zegras price is a bigger return than Eichel. There's no reason the 2024 1st with top 2-3 protection isnt good enough because Anaheim isnt trading Trevor Z. unless they think he's not a superstar which will undermine the return.
Zegras doesnt even look like a center at this point which, again, limits the return!

2024 1st for Zegras otherwise they can keep him and continue being an defensive trainwreck instead of building around legit pieces like Leo-McTavish down the middle.

He cant produce offense. He's fast and can kill penalties but he's had multiple 25 plus game stretches now where he hasnt scored a goal. To open last season and now after the 1st game, this season!
