Just gonna give context if this is based on tonight

In their last 10 games meeting

Both Toronto and Van have a 9-1-0 record against one another at home

On the road Van is 1-9 vs. TOR but we are 1-6-3 in road games against them

Its a weird tradeoff thats almost expected lul

Minnesota declines Middleton isn’t available, leafs pass on the other two Bert isn’t waiving and Minten and Cowan are considered untouchable Brad literally said he isn’t going to trade either of them this season if ever

With an already shallow prospect pool, you can't trade your top selections from any draft year unless they're clearly going to be busts. Toronto should hang on grimly to Minten, Cowan and even Robertson instead of "going all in" in a desperate hope to grab the brass ring once ("once" because no one believes that going all in works for more than one season).

I agree with @JaredOfLondon about once every 50 of his posts, but I'm 1000% percent behind his comment that you're overpaying for a guy who's having the same season as 18-month-older Adam Henrique, who plays on a far weaker team.
