For the Vezina Trophy winner last year, it’s gonna take more than a bottom 6 guy, and a goalie who has a save percentage below .900

I wouldn't sleep on McLeod. Guy is an absolute animal in the dot who over the last 3 years ranks 3rd in FO%. The two guys in front of him.....are not longer playing (Bergeron & Toews). This season he's tied for 5th on NJD in even strength points despite being 17th on NJD in A/TOI. The problem for McLeod is that he gets basically no PP time and only has 6 minutes all year. Kid could be a solid middle-6 center if given more opportunity.

NJ adds a 2nd and retains 1.4 on Vanacek. Maybe. Not taking Vanacek full contract.

Don’t see NJ trading Mac for a goalie though.
