There's nothing here that'll interest the Canes. We'd need a DFD RD back for Pesce. Smith would be on the 4th line in terms of production, so he's of no interest.

Monhan will almost certainly get more elsewhere

Rob Blake can't afford to admit he made a mistake on DuBois (if in fact he did), especially after only 46 games, and if we let Matt Roy go, it's because we think that Doughty, Spence and Clarke can shoulder the workload on that side, so Karlsson isn't a target.

Canes might have interest in acquiring Smith, but it would not be at the expense of Pesce. That package does nothing for the Canes.
