Well take out chances with our picks, no thanks. Marner is going to demand too much money and the GM that has to negotiate with him has ZERO leverage due to the terms of his contract, Dubas made sure of that.

My prediction, if Marner doesn't get the extension he wants from Toronto, he goes full scorched earth, refuses a trade, and walks himself to FA.

Yeah I don't think that's very close to landing Saros, your 1st+Knies gets the conversation started, or multiple 1sts. Not sure there is much else NSH would really want that other teams couldn't easily beat.

As @MoSeider53 says, if Los Angeles gives Vladi Gavrikov 2 seasons at $5.875 million, the Kings will almost certainly offer Matt Roy 5 seasons at $5.5 million, if not more.
