Don't think Anaheim is looking for more defensive prospects. Pearson is a dump and Roy is meh, so all that's included here is a 1st and a prospect that's not really helpful to them.

Value isn't terrible but I don't think those are the pieces Anaheim wants.

Why would Verbeek want Mailoux? You obviously don't know the story on him. Pearson is a waste of assets. Verbeek does better elsewhere trading Treor Zegras.
