Calgary needs Coronato.

They have no RHS forward prospects that profile as a top six winger.

Right now his passport doesn't matter. American or not, he has to show he can be an everyday guy.

Mesar and Newhook aren't really centers. I'd do Mesar, but Newhook is too intriguing to give up on that early in the project.

Because the Flames need a True Positional Centre to replace Lindholm and now Sharangovich and Americans don’t seem to want to play long-term in Canada

The other Target would be a Top-4 RD with Excellent Defensive Play and Shut Down Abilities to Replace Tanev
