If chattels comes in with a sub 2 mil extension I’d say deal. Don’t worry about stammers injury history he has had great health the last 3 years

JBB has expressed that Stammer will not be going anywhere. And it's likely he finishes his career in Tampa. Can't imagine he'd sell off his franchise captain for some late picks lol

If the situation in Tampa changes, I think it’s possible Stamkos could be moved, assuming he would be going to a contender for another ring. That being said, I think for the Canes to ultimately approve a move like that, he would have to be willing to extend for about 3 years with the Canes. If he isn’t willing to do that, Canes aren’t going to spend big assets on a rental.
