I wouldn't mind that trade, but using one retention slot for a measly $200,000 (pro-rated) seems wasteful and with three thirds and our own fourth in June, I think that we'd prefer a 2025 pick.

Max Jones is a NHL player, I've yet to see any evidence that Jet Woo is, and we can claim him on waivers when you send him back down if we want to take a flyer on him.

Overall just not worth taking.

I’m such a contrarian today. I’m fully on board with the trade. Max has not been a fit for us. I’d be happy to let him try his luck elsewhere, I don’t see him with us next season. Let’s get something in return if we can

I think a Jones BOG Leason 4th line for the future could do some solid work assuming they continue to progress under Cronin
