Rather buyout Korpisalo in the offseason than pay a 1st to get rid of him, the buyout is quite tolerable. (Another Dorion mistake lol)

Why would the Leafs want a goalie; we have 3 already & all better than Blackwood . No chance Ferraro is worth a 1st; this proposal needs work

They recently had Mike Santos from Team 33 on the SJHN podcast and he was evaluating what some of the Sharks' trade bait pieces are worth. They're high on Ferraro and when asked if he could get a first he said:

Possibly. Somebody who's got an injury situation on D that's really trying to still make a run at it or a team that's trying to fortify their D with one more solid defenseman, there's always somebody like that. Given the trade deadline and the way people overpay for things, his cap hit is not terrible and he's got time left on a contract, too. There's a lot of upside with him overall. I think somebody would drop a first round pick for him. Certainly a second round pick, for sure. I don't know why the Sharks, given their situation, would want to move a guy like this.
