Guenzel isn't out until the playoffs.. just a week or two past the deadline.. how would Edmonton fit his 3m under the cap?

He double retained, he created a 1.5mil Guentzel. I missed it for the first few minutes myself

I don't hate any of this but, it couldn't work for the simple fact no team only carries 20 players.
What if a player or even worse a goalie gets hurt? The NHL won't let you use every NHL teams EBUG as a designated backup
You'd have to clear up at least another 775K
