Hoglander isn't available for that return probably wouldn't be moved until the offseason and would require be for either an improvement in the top six (ie. Dach/Slafkovsky) or a young guy with size to play in the top 4 (Guhle) aka guys Montreal won't move.

So you're adding 3 forwards from external sources instead of giving the internal prospect options a chance? Why draft anyone if we're going to continually look elsewhere? I can understand looking for a solid top 6 option but adding 3rd and 4th liners and moving assets out to do so is not a good idea, for a rebuilding club especially.

Probably what it takes to move Ryjo, but COL has to have another deal for a 2-3C lined up. If they do, then they make a move like this.
