For a rental? Heck no. Theyre not going to re-sign him with all the other players that have needing new deals.

If they’re trading that much, at least get a player with term.

I think the idea with a trade like this is that they would extend him.

Not their M.O. to give a soon to be 30yr old a max term deal, and JG will certainly and rightfully be looking for a max term deal at $8M+ into his late 30s.
