To dump Schmidt and get 2.5 years of TVR at 50% retention, you’re far underpaying here. Like this isn’t close. You’re getting a number 4/5 defenseman, a righty at that, who PKs and is defensively sound for league minimum here while dumping a 6M dollar bottom pair guy.
