Trades
1.
PHI
  1. Barron, Justin
  2. Dvorak, Christian
  3. Harris, Jordan
  4. 2024 1st round pick (WPG)
Additional Details:
good rebuild assets - a LHD and a RHD with top 4 potential and a late first.

Harris can really play up and down the line-up, great 2-way D.

Barron wants to be more of an offensive Dman, but will likey be a 2-way Dman.

(Dvorak is ONLY to fill a center spot for the Flyers, we can keep his cap - it's mostly a throw in for convenience (Aka a body to put in the line-up - i attach no value to him in this trade)
2.
MTL
  1. Necas, Martin [RFA Rights]
CAR
  1. 2024 1st round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
After the lottery, habs end up picking around 7th to 8th overall.

The cream of the crop forwards are gone (Celebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom, Eiserman are gone) - Catton is available as well as a few great dman.

Habs trade that pick to acquire a young talented stud like a Zegras... or if they are smart, they go get a guy like Necas or Jarvis who are about to get paid.

Drop Barron from the trade for MTL to consider, not that I think PHI would be overly interested anyway.

Frost has seen to find his groove again, can't see them trading him + Dvorak is a huge cap dump

That might be enough for Necas, but you'd need to add considerably if you wanted Jarvis. The issue is, there needs to be a good forward on the board when the Canes go up to pick because they don't draft D men in the first round. That's been a theme under Dundon.
