You think Elvis is worth a 1st and 2nd / You think all it will cost to move Campbell is a 1st and 3rd with no retention.

Highly doubt that the Oilers would help LA get a quality G. Pick another team like NJ if CBJ would do it. Or Toronto.

Considering his buyout peaks at 2.5 million and stays at 1.5 mil or under for 3 of the 5 years, yes I believe it will only cost a 1st and a 3rd or Edmonton will just buy him out.

There is no world where Elvis is worth LA spending that much in assets. Especially when Lindgren could be had for much cheaper from Washington.

If LA were interested, I could see the value shaking out a little more like this:

TO LAK: Elvis ($1M retained by Columbus, $1M retained by EDM) -> Elvis at $3.4M for the next 3 years is much more manageable.

TO CBJ: 2024 EDM 1st, 2025 LAK 2nd, Campbell -> 1st for taking Campbell, 2nd for Elvis + retention

TO EDM: the burden of knowing they gifted a rival a starting goaltender in order to get out from under the weight of their own mistakes. And more cap room going forward.
