Milano probably gets a better return if traded but I think he stays. Bear I couldn’t care less, but I do find it unlikely that they’ll move two RD this off-season. Depth spots will likely go to guys in the system rather than UFAs (Bortuzzo, Cole, etc.).

I don’t hate the idea of trying to parlay Lapierre into a high end center, just gotta see how he finishes out this season. He’s been on a point per game plus pace since his last recall and he’s looked very good on a line with Ovi. He might’ve graduated to the NHL out of nowhere and may be an important part of the core moving forward especially with Kuznetsov and Backstrom out.

Bear is an ok option I'd be ok with personally, but it depends on the defense situation in Winnipeg and if they end up letting Dillon walk and find a suitor for Schmidt. If Dillon goes, and Demelo re-signs, Heinola takes the spot in the lineup.
