Description
-in my opinion, couture won’t play another game in his career. He will either be on LTIR, or just IR to meet the floor, or he can moved to a team wanting to utilize LTIR.

-They should let the old kids play and the new kids summer. Let Eklund, Bordeleau, Thrun, Mukhamadullin, Zetterlund go wild. Maybe let Gushchin get in on thd NHL action. Players like Will Smith, Quinten Musty and whomever they draft this year should just get another year at least, no need to rush them.

-The sharks should look to other teams needing to shed cap for more veteran presence on the team and maybe they can pick up more picks along the way.

Has a larger cat hit for the production he’s putting out. Vancouver has a bit of their roster to fill out, particularly defense, and this move gives them much more flexibility.

Thoughts? Fair?

Thoughts? I don’t know that Montreal needs to dump him but I’m not sure there’s much of a market for him. I’d be interested in Anderson but would want more to dump him. Seems like Montreal thinks he has positive value though? I don’t see it with that cap hit.

MTL has 0 need to dump Dvorak, especially since he is very welcomed in the lineup when healthy. But in terms of dump value, it is one of the lighter ones I've seen recently, so good job on that

If the dump is that cheap( that our 8th or9th pick in the 2025 draft atm) I think they wpuld do it simply as it adds more flexibility.

I think if the Habs needed the cap and roster space for a center, they'd probably do this for Dvorak. Center depth is weak so moving him is only necessary if they intend to replace him with someone better. If not they have little reason to move him. They'd just have to go get another Dvorak type center again so its defeats the purpose.

Anderson on the other hand, if there is a move to be made, I'd be interested in. I think Habs mgmt would welcome moving him for pennies on the dollar right now and frankly even with sweeteners to move him out if need be. ONLY if its to remove his cap entirely though. They're not retaining on him and if they take someone back, that contract has to be off their books soonish. If those criteria can't be met, they might as well buy him out then.

Don't forget how freakishly injured we tend to get. Having depth is a must for MTL, so if we have the cap, we should keep him

Grier needs to be getting way more back for cap dumps.
