CHI has less than zero interest in Fabbri, and they aren't signing Grzelcyk, let alone at $4.5M.

why do hawks fans always have so much to say about overpayments of ufas. Nobody is coming here on a fair value deal. Overpays are a requirement. Both to keep existing players and to bring others in. I get that this player might not be your target but Chicago's going to need to reach the cap floor and overpaying guys is gonna be part of how they do it.

I am well aware of CHI's situation and what they need to do. Grzelcyk and Fabbri simply aren't targets... or at least they shouldn't be. I just thought it was worth pointing out that $4.5M is a ridiculous overpay for Grz, even for CHI.
