That Chicago trade is truly one sided in the Leafs favor. Take out Murphy and the Hawks might at least consider it.

The big four UFA signings strike me as under-valued, especially at the term length. Maybe if you're giving a player seven years, you might get them for flat/near flat/reduced AAVs.

Kampf holds zero value in a trade to the Hawks. He's just another bottom 6 forward the Hawks don't need. Dumping his 3x$2.4m salary costs Lilypad and Robertson gets a 3rd. How is that one sided? And I say "might" because I'm not sure the Hawks would value Robertson at a 3rd anyway.
