Description
I am super high on Jarnkrok. Ottawa can use a very good defensive and versatile winger. Jarnkrok would be a perfect add for them. I would really like to keep him but cap is tight here.

Thoughts?

I’d probably do the 2025 2nd if Ottawa was interested in Jarnkrok!

If Leafs have to get rid of Jarnkrok for cap, why aren't the Leafs giving up the better pick to pay Ottawa to take on cap hit for multiple years?

Jarnkrok is a super serviceable player. IF you move him before they have put themselves in a cap corner, he would be easy to move. If they can't get an asset for him, they just keep him and run a 20-21 man roster to start the year and/or wait for injuries to solve the cap. Leafs have done that the last several years.
