Giving up Knies is probably a bridge too far for Toronto but I can definitely see them giving up a huge package for Hronek.

Don’t think Leafs would trade Knies for Hronek (quickly becoming one of the most over rated players on this site) straight up on his current deal. But given his “supposed” contract demands of $7-8M with term - no chance; Leafs can’t afford him & he’s not worth that.

Knies is off the table, but Leafs can’t afford a good (not great) dman asking for $7-8M per…

Leafs fans will say Rielly is a steal at his contract but Hronek isn’t worth 7-8M even though Hronek is just as good if not better while also being 4 years younger and a RHD
