Hind sight is 20/20 but… damn they both pop off and the devils cant get a playoff spot in the worst east in years. I think it was actually just historically bad goal tending and injury luck.

Timo will be fine, so yes, we should have traded Zetterlund.

And yes, Yegor doesn't likely score 30 here as Lindy hated him. We likely get nothing close to the return we got for Toffoli when Yegor could barely stay in the lineup. He simply wasn't going to get top 6 time here.

Fitz's worst call was to extend Lindy when he could have waited out the year he still had left.

I agree with the historically bad goaltending and bad luck part with injuries...but Lindy was a big part of the failure.

i think one of the worst move was not adressing the goaltending situation early.
