I'd rather the Kings spend that money on Roy over Toffoli.

After his play this year, I don't see any way Talbot is going to take a pay cut (he made $2M this season with his bonus).

Toffoli has mostly struggled with the Jets, hate to say it but I think the decline is on.

I think Byfiled is not agreeing for 4 mil AAV for 4 seasons, its rather a bridge deal for 2 years until Kopis contract expires, or a long term deal.
I think that is a risky goalie tandem, because fortunately this season Talbot was not injured and is playing great, but you never know. He is 37 when the new season starts and in case of injury you have only Portillo who is a great talent, having a fantastic season with the Reign but yet to play his first NHL game.
I would have liked to see Toffoli coming back to the Kings at the trade deadline, but I think the Kings shall resign Arvy for less than what Toffoli might ask for. Nevertheless, I would be hapy to see Toffoli come back, he is a great guy
