Sounds like they are spending to the cap, so probably in on a few of the big name ufas. Outhouse to pent house as far as gm gigs go, so much cap to spend, so many assets to wheel and deal with.

Wild thing also, coyotes could easily take on laine and add him to the lineup, with the assets to make it work, the cap to do it, and possibly a buylow type opportunity, that a lot of teams couldn’t possibly even think about.

Depends where the pick falls tbh. If we can get a right shot defender in the draft plus pick up geekie, I don’t hate the offer.

At the moment they're two picks behind us. So it arguably depends more on who falls to those picks and whether or not we think we're getting a RD that's better than Jiricek with our own pick. If we can, it's arguably a no-brainer. If not... I think we'd have to turn it down even though that's killer value, because team construction reasons.
