I think a top-6 center with a proven pedigree and three years' term on a moderate cap hit gets more than a 2024 first and an A prospect (and you're not even offering that), and the fact that Jokiharju's contract is up and his Qualifying Offer is $2.6 million may discourage cap-stressed Vegas from making that RhD swap. (The Golden Knights already have 7 defensemen under contract for next season anyway.)

I think Golden Knights wouldn't think twice about that. They shed cap to re-sign Marchy, get a RD back to replace Martinez, a pretty decent prospect and and 2nd. That's a bit too much for Kalrsson imo.

Sharks pass, they're more interested in picks and/or prospects that are NOT LD or LW
