Description
we're assuming that the west coast is off limits as well as most Canadian teams. I assume Sweeney avoids Atlantic unless Detroit gives him an offer he can't refuse. i don't see Ullmark going to OTT or TO.

I could see Detroit being interested in Ullmark.

But how is Husso magically disappearing?

      Buyout?

No team is trading for him.

I don't think you're allowed to buyout an injured player?

      LTIR?

I recall several years ago Mikael Samuelsson had an injured boobie so Holland couldn't buy him out.

I think the premise that he won’t go to Canadian teams or West Coast teams is based on parameters that are going to change significantly on July 1st.

A team that offers him a market extension with appropriate trade clauses could be more appealing than a lame duck season in Boston waiting to be traded and be away from his family for months if it happens.

No one knows how he will respond. Period. Maybe his wife or his best friend on earth who I assume aren’t going to post it on cap friendly,

He has one year left on his contract. Bury him or retain on him to get him out of the door.

Goaltender appears to be one of your primary weaknesses. One year on anybody’s contract shouldn’t impact a decision unless you are going to struggle to be cap compliant

I'd rather keep Ullmark at those prices. He gets no respect for some reason despite consistently putting up very good numbers across several seasons and teams.
