    Yes that Leafs trade isn’t horrible, but I really like Knies and I definitely want the Leafs to keep him.

    It’s essentially Gavrikov+2nd+rights to sign Roy (whom they desperately need)
    If TOR wants to risk a bidding war they will lose easily to DET for Roy.

    UFA rights are essentially worthless, you might get a 5th if you are very very very lucky. Gavrikov and a late 2nd doesnt get you knies
