Come to think about, how good was Thrun in his rookie season? Would'v loved him on the Ducks but with the abundance of LHD prospects, it was clear one of LaCombe and Thrun would be leaving. Hope he can succeed in SJ, I loved watching him in college.

Yep, not paying 1st for 2 players who are over 30 already. We want to get younger, not older. Also RyJo is LTIR bound, no need to dump him.

He did about as good as he could with our D-core, but there are still a lot of rookie mistakes. I also think his play was a little ‘ahead’ of some of our roster because they are scared of the puck. It’s hard to judge but id give him like a 6.5/7 out of 10 as in slightly above average rookie
