marner is outta here

Please look at the Cap situation on Calgary side.

Everyone entitled to an opinion (even illogical ones), but not sure this makes much sense:
1/ Marner has full NMC, so chances are he doesn’t agree to any deal
2/ but if he does, you should consider trading team’s needs - not sure Flames are a team that wants another 8 figure winger, even considering how valuable Marner is; they seem weak at centre position to me
3/ no guarantee that Marner would extend either (if it goes down like this, why would he do the Leafs any favours) so it’s probably rental Marner which greatly narrows the teams that would be interested & reduces potential return
So…waste of time

Cap isn't a problem for CGY. The problem is we don't need Marner. We have so many winger prospects, some should be traded.

As I said CGY doesn't need more wingers. They also don't need another pending UFA when no one wants to sign with us. Plus Andersson fits this team 100000x better than Marner ever would

Make it Willy instead of Marner and Calgary accepts.
