I wouldn't count on UFAs agreeing to sign for the exact AAV amounts that will allow TOR to fit them under a tight cap situation. That doesn't seem too realistic.

Montour yes (though probably be asking for Orlov $, $7+ million) and Domi yes (if he takes hometown discount of $3.5 - $4 million), Edmundson no (good heart and grit but too slow) and Pesce no (too pricey if Montour signs for as much as I predict) and no trading Jarnkrok (I love his jack of all trades skill).

Obviously one of the core 4 has to go, Matthews should stay and Tavares won't ever waive so that leaves Nylander and Marner. Unfortunate they have NMC

I think Marner ends up going// that's what I want but this is just a scenario where Toronto can't get him to waive his NMC
