Habs do not trade Joshua Roy and 2 first round picks to move up 3 spots.
Joshua Roy is an excellent prospect.

If Chicago isn’t sold on Demidov this is a good move for them, I like Roy he has talent and 2 1sts isn’t bad to move down 3 spots

I would wait and see how the draft falls, in all likelihood we are getting either Demidov or Lindstrom. If the Hawks take Levshunov, Ducks likely take Lindstrom, Silayev or Parekh then that leaves Lindstrom or Dickenson for the Jackets. Let's also not forget that Catton is a pretty prolific scorer with average size and Eiserman is also right there. There are lots of great options available to us at 5th.

I understand the thought for the Chicago trade, but if we aren't sold on Demidov I imagine they would just take Levshunov instead of trading down. Either way unless you significantly overpay I don't think Davidson trades out of 2

I don’t see the hawks doing this, franchise cornerstone Ivan “the demigod” demidov will be a Blackhawk.

Alternatively, Artem Leshunov would be acceptable to me, but I don’t think he makes it to 5.
