You value the Sabres way too much. Why would the out of playoffs Flyers trade for a upcoming UFA?

Why would Buffalo trade Kane for so little? We can get a good prospect a 1st and probably a 2nd from teams like St.Louis, Tampa or Calgary

Jordan Nolan to Boston? wtf? Boston probably has 9 competent 4th liners not including anyone playing in the top 9. Guys like Aggostino, Czarnik, Beleskey, Blidh, Szwarz, Accari, Schaller, Kuraly and Accari are fine to be hidden on the 4th line and given limited minutes. They all have NHL experience at some point and everyone of our starting 4th liners (Accari, Schaller and Kuraly) are better than Nolan to begin with, so it's not like we're upgrading. This is basically like turning the pick into a tangible object and just deciding to burn it for no apparent reason. On top of this is the fact that we got Drew Stafford last year at the deadline for a 6th.... how is Nolan worth more than that when he doesn't have a scoring resume like Stafford?

The Flyers trade is also puzzling. As one of the guys above me already stated, what use would they have for a rental and why would Kane decide to sign with them before seeing what he could get in Free Agency?

I feel like you picked the trade partners completely randomly without putting thought behind it.
