Forgot to rate... I'll bump up to 6 stars if you include J.T. Brown somehow in this trade...

I think Nash is the perfect fit for the ducks. I’d want him over Grabner because he add size with his speed. But I think a Nash/McD pkg is worth more than a Grab/McD pkg.

Love the addition of McD. I think I’d take Ritchie out. He holds no value here. I think Larsson + 1st is a great starting point for just McD. It needs more though and the later picks aren’t enough. Considering that there isn’t really enough value on our side for McD alone, I’d drop Grabner from the deal or add 2 x 2nds to NYRs side because that’s probably what he’ll cost.

Really? I think it falls significantly short, especially looking at what other teams like STL and BOS are capable of offering.

Nash doesn’t have any speed anymore. He used to and was probably one of the fastest player of his size, but he’s about as slow as Perry these days and floats far too often. Grabner has speed in spades, but, as you mentioned, that’s about it. I don’t think I’d pursue either personally. High price tags on both players, one living off his name and not his recent performances, and the other one living off two good seasons after years of mediocrity.

Really? I think it falls significantly short. It’s basically Larsson + 1st for McD + Grabner. Ritchie has no value and is just a throw-in. I think the OP gets mauled by any NYR fan. Not even enough for McD alone if you ask me, especially looking at what other teams like STL and BOS are capable of offering.

1. You’ve said plenty of times you like Ritchie and think the ducks should hang onto him but now you claim he has no value? I don’t get it. He’s a young nhl ready player. There’s value.

2. Nash isn’t that slow. He may have lost a step but he’s plenty quick enough to play with Henrique and Kase and big enough to play with Getz and rakell/perry. Grabner doesn’t fit for the ducks. They’ve tried the speedy ranger winger in the past in Hagelin and we know how that went.
