Ottawa fans are the worst!
Pittsburgh is capped out, this year and next. Can't afford Brassard, but I guess OTT could take back Cole for salary and retain a whole bunch...

Anyway the point here was to move both Brassard and JVR without touching 1st rounders, which are no fun to live without. Without retaining Brassard dollars or taking on a bad contract they will not get a 1st anyway.
Toronto can easily afford to up its offer on Brassard if they have to as well. Make it 2nd, 3rd, 5th, or even 2nd, 3rd, 4th without breaking a sweat.

But Ottawa fans think other teams don't know they are sellers, living in the cellar for the foreseeable future. Enjoy that, and the 10000 Leafs fans in your building for your 3 sellouts of the year.

I like your idea and see what you were trying to do. As a Pens fan I like the Pens deal, I even made a similar one in one of my threads. You could probably get more for JVR though. To be honest though i don't even know if Toronto will do anything with Bozak or JVR because they know they will help in their playoff push.
