to me it makes more sense if OTT takes Brown not Kempe as unless they do LAK isnt a player in re-signing Karlson so its kind of a must do thing.
that buys LAK time to re-sign both by moving out 1/3-2/3 of Toffoli,Martinez or Phaneuf to make it work even if its 15m each it still makes you the better team.

losing Vlardi is hard longterm but if it gives you a shot to land a duo like that you gotta try or risk losing Doughty who said he wants to play for a contender no matter where that is
put him and karlson infront of Quick with the forwards you got and the west will be put on notice.
