Description
I like having fun with this. But we would shore up the D and add some more scoring punch. You could always shuffle the lines a bit to have Patches play with Getz and mover Perry down. Whatever you want.

Additional Details:
Most might not like giving up Beauch, but it lets him finish his career in MTL in front of family and gives the Ducks a guy that will be a hold over for next year and can eat up some minutes. Plus they wont have to go hunting for a D man over the summer.

you are not going to get patch for that price!!

we are not desperate to trade Patch... we are going to keep him and resign him unless we get THE offer

There needs to be a 1st round pick or a 1st round prospect to at least keep Bergevin on the line.

The McDonagh deal needs a little more coming from the Ducks side IMO. Nothing big, just something more. However, given that we have Fowler and Lindholm on the left side, I don't see McDonagh being a fit. EK would make a lot more sense, but would come with more risk, at a higher cost, and higher contract demands.

The Vermette deal is probably an overpayment from TB. I think a conditional 3rd that becomes a 2nd if TB makes it to the ECFs is as good as we'll get IMO. Might just get a straight up 3rd round pick and I'd be fine with that. Vermette is pretty awful outside of FOs.

Patches deal is really bad for MTL. Easily gets beat.

The team looks godly though.
