This isn't bad. I wonder if there's not a logical way to get Lucic into this deal, too. He always struck me as a quintessential Flyer. But as it stands, it helps both teams.

I think if we are going to trade Simmonds we need to get a RHD that is borderline 2nd pairing/3rd pairing. I know we have Myers coming up but he will likely need another year in the AHL. We can also move Gudas and hope to get a bag of pucks for his useless ass. Then we would be set at D for a good long while.

God NO! Lucic is useless and the Flyers are no longer the Broad Street Bullies. Lucic is so slow that I think a race between him and Luke Schenn is too close to call. It’s a speed game now.
