Everyone would like to see him to go to a favorite team without overpay. The issue is 1) he'll sign the most protracted/lucrative contract of his career 2) he's virtually alone UFA D of that quality rolling eyes

Vegas gets a horrible contract and they give up a 2nd round pick and Nate Schmidt. Letang is a very good player but is one hit aeay from being done. That is a big gamble. I believe that Vegas has a plan and Letang doe not fit into that plan.

I would 100% take Schmidt over Letang straight up. Not even close. Contract is terrible, injury history, age...everything factors toward Schmidt.

I was being sarcastic. Letang’s awful right now, and I’d love to see him still in Pit. JC will NOT go to Pittsburgh. That’s the last place I want to see him...
