Bobby Ryan has put up 25 and 33 points the past 2 years. Those are the numbers you expect from a contract that is less than half his cap hit. No way anyone touches that contract unless it's 50% retained, ESPECIALLY not when you are giving up a good asset on the other side (Silfverberg).

I don't think any of these trades really work. with the exception of Hoffman and Pageau, the sens only give up spare parts in exchange get a boatload of very good players. none of these trades do a good job of addressing the other teams needs, except maybe the MTL trade(value is still off in all likelihood)

Agreed with a918 regarding the Ducks trade

Lightning are not moving a 23 year old Vezina candidate in Vasilevskiy for a 37 year old Anderson and Hoffman. Hoffman is def a nice piece to any trade but you're essentially trading him for Vasilevsky.

Montreal is not moving Gallagher (they need all the scoring they can get) for a late 1st, a 3rd liner, and a backup goalie

Phoenix is going to want a 1st for Domi if they do decide to trade him

Calgary will hang up on the Senators so quick with that trade proposal.

You are offering 2nd/3rd rate pieces for top talent, if you want to acquire top talent you have to be willing to give up solid players/prospects or better draft compensation.

Zero Chance on the Vaselivsky deal.

There is also Zero chance Anaheim undoes it's Silfverberg for Ryan deal and gives you a 3rd rd pick. They already need to dump a highly paid old guy who can't score any more in Perry, I don't see them adding another one.

The Ceci Deal seems ok, but Calgary needs scoring more than D men.

Not nearly enough for Jenner either.

I think you are overpaying for Gallagher. He is a good player, but I would need to see him have another good year before I did that deal because if he is a low 20's goal scorer like the rest of his career has shown, that's a lot to give up, that's Pageau 3 years ago...

Your trading scraps for roster players, including top 6 forwards. Claesson for Domi, Ryan for Silvferberg. Those aren’t even tweakable, they aren’t close
