He's 29, the long term would hurt buffalo. Not worth giving up futures for, especially Mittlestadt. You're crazy if you think we're dealing mittlestadt.

i mean if im chicago i would never trade Kane but in the rare instance that CHI is extremley high on Casey then that is where the deal pivots off of. I dont think its 'Crazy' at all. You aren't trading Eichel and you aren't trading Dahlin. You are getting rid of your 3rd best young asset, a high potential winger (nylander) and still get sharks 1st in 2018. Kane is PPG player for his career and should be able to maintain that till hes 35 at the least and has shown interest in coming home before.....you say 29 like that is old as dirt, just because Mcdavid and Matthews come in at 20 and dominate doesnt mean players north of 27 are bad
