Description
I think Zucker is exactly what the flames need. The only potentially available player I would want more is Stone from OTT.

I know the package for Zucker is underwhelming, but Ennis has negative value and this creates a lot more space under the cap for MIN. Calgary gives up a Big C with lots of upside and 1st round pedigree, a #5-7 young D with some potential to become a #3-4, and a good goalie prospect. Jankowski and Kulak will be good value contracts for a few years yet.

The PItt trade could be to anyone who needs depth D.

I included Derek Ryan because it seems an almost certainty at this point that he is signing with the Flames.

Minnesota will not do this, they need help rn as they said they aren't rebuilding.Losing a 30 goal scorer for an iffy prospect and some spare parts doesn't make sense even when taking back Ennis. I could see Minnesota trading Nino or Charlie Coyle, but they would have to get more in return.. And besides they already have Eriksson-Ek and Kunin who are decent center prospects with good potential. So acquiring Jankwski makes zero sense. And Pittsburgh just cleared cap so they won't take on an unnecessary contract like Stone's, especially if they are actually gonna get Jack Johnon

I'd rather lose Zucker than Coyle/Nino. I think he's a bad contract waiting to happen. Sell high on him now.

Apparently moving zucker or nino or coyle would be something Minnesota would do.

The Wild want quality, to do that they have to give up quality. Most good players get feelers from other GMs throughout the year. The new GM just seems more willing to part with guys, where the old one had "his guys" and they were almost untouchable.
