Description
Looking at this team there are two glaring holes, two more solid pieces on the back end. If the value isn't right thats fine, just let me know what you think.

That looks like three moves, not one.

even this lineup is no where close to being a Cup contender, probably not even a playoff contender. think those wingers are nhl good? or the centres good enough now? even that defence is probably below nhl average at least for this year.

The other ones are just support moves, the main trade is the Canadians for Petry and Price

Zuccs is more than a support piece.

Habs also would not take Beaulieu back. The value to get Petry, Shaw & Price is not there and needs significant prospects to go back to MTL.

I have no disagree with you there man. Dahlin with a veteran just Petry will be dynamite, did you see him with Mete last year? And Ristolainen and Scandella is solid as hell. Then you have a vet in Bogosian following up the last pair. That is a much better defensive core than Price is used to playing behind.

As for the forward group, I know Sheary with play like how he did with Crosby on a line with Eichel, plus when Nylander was drafted he was sold a the better Nylander, if he can play half as well as his brother thats a solid top unit. Pirri is a sleeper, you give him a line with speed and more minutes he'll perform. Then you have a bottom six of mix skill, speed and experience. This team is better than half the Atlantic and can easily take a wild card spot. You get an MVP season from Eichel, maybe a Vezina caliber season from Price and top it with a Calder trophie for either Mittlestadt/Nylander. Why couldn't you?

Vegas made it to the stanley cup final with a lot less.
