Description
Checking out how Max Paccioretty fits in Anaheim a few years out. Assume the trade happens in Jan-Feb 2019 as Ducks ramp up to a playoff run, and Pacioretty has had a rebound year on pace for 30+ goals again. Anaheim has good depth all around and young prospects on the way as well to fill gaps when Perry, Cogliano, Eaves, Kesler and Getzlaf finally check out and create some more cap space.

The Habs would probably keep Fleury. We don’t need Comtois so you remove him from the deal and add a pick instead. If you want, we can add a center prospect like Vejdemo, someone with decent NHL potential that we don’t need and/or a McCarron, a player that needs a change of scenery.

I'd agree with Drivefor25. I can't see the Habs parting with any of their higher end D prospects right now, on account of our blue line being a bit of a mess.

Just my thought that the aging Ducks shouldn't be trading any of young assets.

Though I like the deal in all, but I dont think the ducks would resign Sustr and Schenn for those deals. I think they would go younger on d to save some cap space. I would love to see Patches on the ducks this year and see how he does with Getz.
