As a Dallas fan, I like Brassard...

...but I hate the thought of losing Faksa. He's our best defensive forward...

There’s a reason Faksa got Selke votes last year. He finished 7th in Selke voting and 85% of his TOI was on the 3rd line. As nice as Brassard is, Faksa is nearly untouchable right now, simply due to the fact that his defensive game is incredible.

This is what I’ve been saying for months. He’s one of our untouchables. No way DAL gives him up. Not even in a trade for Karlsson

That untouchable? dang. I am not familiar with him so originally looking at the trade was thinking it over in my head debating the validity before scrolling down to the comments and decided would probably be a decent deal from both sides(only familiar with one of those sides)

Faksa is extremely underrated. He’s their best forward after the big 3 in Benn Seguin and Radulov. Plus with him gone our depth C’s involve Spezza and Hanzal. Pretty unstable imo
