    Why wouldn't they. It was common knowledge that negotiations were not going well when STL were willing to trade Paraynko for Nylander straight up. So if the leafs call back why would STL change their mind? I still think the relationship has to get alot worse for Dubas to pull that lever but overall its a good trade for both teams.

    Blues are trading for negotiating rights. They will trade (and it's a pretty fair trade) for a signed Nylander. So what is the Nylander's salary and term and how does it fit into the Blues cap situation.
    A 6.5m Nylander puts the Blues right at the cap limit.
