Description

Few things:
- I know Dorion doesn't trade in the east, or Melnyk doesn't let him rather
- I like Bracco, but I don't see him as part of our future since our right side is really strong
- I don't think Stone will be traded, I think the Sens will sell him on being the next Captain(which means he'll be traded in about 5 years) and he signs long term. I just wanted to see how this rental would look.
- I used the Stastny deal as comparable, gave more because I believe Stone is a better player.
- This is just a rental, Toronto would not even consider resigning him.
- Also I believe Moore is going to have an amazing year in the AHL and get a late season call up.
- Finally I think people that are ready sign Nylander at over 6.6AAV(Pastranak) are crazy, he's my favourite player on leafs but let's be realistic

Sens will trade for any team in order to get the best return. Assuming the Sens are out of the playoffs, so what if the Leafs get Stone as a rental. I don't see the Leafs giving up any assets to get winger, a Dman yes.

Seems like a complete waste for a rental forward when that SHOULD be the Leafs strongest position both in terms of depth and scoring. Not saying Stone couldn't help this team through the playoffs, but I'd think if the Leafs started emptying their prospect and draft pick cupboard they'd target defensive help first.

I don't see Toronto acquiring Stone unless the Nylander wheels fall off. However, I could see a deal with Ottawa for Dzingel if he could see himself playing LW (he's left-handed).
