I'll assume it is 2mil and not 2 dollars. I really like Casey Nelson. Scandella at 2 mil is ok. Malone does nothing in the trade. SJ 1st is a nice add. Girgensons does a lot of the dirty work for cheap. If Cal Foote is ready pass. If not not a horrible deal...

I like the idea of this trade for both teams, but the other guy is right, this doesn't do anything for Tampa's cap situation, even with retention on Scandella. I'd say Johnson is worth a second, third and mid-level prospect, max, less if it comes to the point where Tampa is forced to move someone. But on the surface, I think a swap would benefit both teams.
