If you're trying to acquire a 3rd pairing guy then you're already losing the trade. Here's the thing... pretty much anybody can be as effective on the 3rd line D. I would much prefer bringing Mete back than getting Scandella. I'm perfectly okay with Shlemko there, there's no need to make a lateral move.

I don,t know, I stole the trade value directly from various recent Sabres fan teams that are trading him for a 3rd so I don't see why not. I think they might say yes.
