I don't think we'd need to give up that much for Sam Bennett. I also don't think he adds that much value to the roster, unless he really just needs a change of scenery. Maybe Bura and a late round pick could suffice, but I don't think we should sell low on Burakovsky. If he doesn't turn it around, just non-tender him after the season.

Also, why are we trading Bowey and a pick for Joe Hicketts?

I corrected the Bowey trade, meant to trade for Jensen not Hicketts. Also yeah this is probably an overpay for Bennett I just love his game and would be very happy to see him in a Caps jersey.

I mean I don't think Nisky is trash by any means, but if we are going to go that route.. Ron Hainsey also played top minutes while winning a cup tears of joy
